February 2020 in Review

Ohio Division of Liquor Control (OHLQ) Announces WhistlePig Barrel Series #4 of 4 - Available March 7

The Ohio Division of Liquor Control (OHLQ) has announced the availability of the final of the four WhistlePig Single Barrel selections that will be offered to Ohioans. The four releases are Spicy Pig, Smooth Pig, Rich Pig, and the Sweet Pig (this release). The Sweet Pig bottles will be available at select stores (see the list below) beginning at 9am on Saturday, March 7th.

Lux Row Re-Launches Daviess County Bourbon

Lux Row Distillery has announced that they are re-launching Daviess County Kentucky Straight Bourbon in three distinct varieties beginning this month.

James B. Beam Distilling Fills 16 Millionth Barrel

James B. Beam Distilling Company has filled their 16 millionth barrel since prohibition. The milestone barrel was filled and sealed by distillers Fred Noe, 7th Generation Master Distiller, and his son Freddie Noe, 8th Generation Beam Distiller, in Clermont, Kentucky.

Woodford Announces Latest Master's Collection Called Woodford Reserve Batch Proof

Woodford has announced their latest addition to their Master's Collection in the form of a new spirit called 'Woodford Reserve Batch Proof.' This is the first release in 2020 of the Master's Collection joining 2019 Batch Proof that was announced in May of 2019 and Chocolate Malted Rye Bourbon announced in October of 2019.

Ohio Division of Liquor Control (OHLQ) Announces Bulleit Single Barrel - Available February 21

The Ohio Division of Liquor Control (OHLQ) has announced the availability of Bulleit Single Barrel beginning at 9am on Friday, February 21st. The State worked directly with Master Distiller Dwayne Kozlowski to select three barrels. The Bulleit Single Barrel Program is brand new and the State of Ohio was the second group ever, and first state, to choose Bulleit single barrels.

Welcome to the review for Crown Royal Salted Caramel. This is limited edition to the Crown Royal lineup and the bottle I'm reviewing was released in the holiday season of 2019. Since this is mixed, it makes it a flavored whiskey. With that said, let's get to the review!

Angel's Envy Announces Limited Edition Bourbon Finished In Tawny Port Wine Barrels

Angel's Envy has announced the release of 5400 bottles of a new bourbon that is made from their 10 year bourbon that is aged an additional 10 months in Tawny Port Wine Barrels. This is Angel's Envy's oldest bourbon ever released.

MGP Announces Single Barrel Programs for George Remus Bourbon and Rossville Union Rye

Lawrenceburg, Indiana based MGP has announced two limited releases from George Remus Bourbon and Rossville Union Rye. These new releases will both be available in two distinct mash bills.
