Our 10K Page-view Spectacular! Get to Know ColumbusBourbon.com

At some point on May 1st, the site crossed over the 10,000 page-view threshold. Thank you to everyone who has visited, and please continue to tell everybody! When I started this site in the fall of 2018, I never thought we would hit this milestone so fast. In fact, here is the run down of the traffic since the site began...

Of the 114 articles posted so far, the most popular articles are:
  1. Ohio Liquor Control Announces Elijah Craig Small Batch Barrel Selection with 405 views
  2. Ohio Division of Liquor Control Announces Weller CYPB Raffle on March 14 with 353 views
  3. Ohio Division of Liquor Control Announces Four Selections from Maker's Mark - Available April 5 with 234 views
  4. Ohio Bourbon Bottle Lottery - May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor with 201 views
  5. Ohio Liquor Control Announces 1792 Full Proof Barrel Release with 185 views
The top 5 clearly show that the local Ohio news is a popular topic and I'll continue to cover all the raffles, limited releases, and bourbon and whiskey news as it pertains to the great state of Ohio.

If you are new to the site, my favorite articles to write are:
  1. So You Want To Get Into Bourbon? A Beginners Guide
  2. Kentucky Running Races for Bourbon Lovers
  3. A Short Trip Through the Bourbon Trail Series
  4. Ohio Announces 2018 Bourbon Bottle Lottery Winners
  5. Get to Know Castle & Key Distillery
And lastly, the thing that started this site... the whiskey and bourbon reviews published on the 1st and 16th of every month. So far, our highest rated bourbon is the Old Ezra 7 Year Barrel Strength Bourbon coming in with a score of  85.5 and our lowest score of 8 was the Sierra Norte Single Barrel Native Oaxacan Black Corn Whiskey. As we move forward, I can't wait to see what the future holds. I'll continue to publish the relevant bourbon and whiskey news (especially with an Ohio focus) and continue to crank out more original content. I'm excited you're along for the ride!

Thanks and cheers,

Mark & The Boys (Tobey-boy on the left and Baby Leo on the right)
