For those with more money than sense... Marianne Eaves, former Master Distiller who abruptly quit Castle & Key is releasing a member ship service called EAVES BLIND for the low price of $1000. This service includes small batch and single barrel bourbons from distilleries across the country in a blind format. 

Included for your $1000 are the following:

• Nine unique single source bourbons blended by Eaves
• Nine Single Barrel Samples - selected by Eaves
• Nine Water Samples - curated for each single barrel
• Education materials that explain the unique qualities of each sample, including analytical flavor testing, technical process details and more
• Black crystal tasting glasses
• Video tasting and instruction with Marianne Eaves for each panel
• First access to membership in future EAVES BLIND events and programs

My Take

For $1000, I will also send you nine water samples... including... Dasani, Perrier, Aquafina... and for an extra $200, I will include Fiji. In all seriousness, this is one of the dumbest things I've seen since I've been writing this blog. You pay a grand and get samples and water... wow!
