James B. Beam Distilling Co. Fills 17 Millionth Barrel of Bourbon Since Prohibition

The James B. Beam Distilling Co. had filled their 17 millionth barrel of bourbon since prohibition. Jim Beam was my bourbon of choice in college and beyond so I'm thinking I've probably accounted for at least 10% of those barrels... This is quite a milestone and has been culminated with the filling of 1 million barrels in the last 18 months alone.

Freddie Noe, 8th Generation Beam Distiller states:
Throughout this pandemic, our incredible teams kept coming in to work every day, to make the bourbon that consumers around the world are going to enjoy in about four years. They adjusted to new workplace protocols that kept them, their colleagues and our operations safe - and they did this while caring for loved ones at home.

The 17 millionth barrel was filled, sealed and signed by Noe, his father Fred Noe, 7th Generation Master Distiller, and local leaders at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, KY.

My Take

Congrats to Jim Beam for filling all that bourbon. Some of the brands of bourbon owned by the Beam Suntory conglomerate include Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, Booker's, Knob Creek, Basil Hayden's, Baker's, and Legent.
