Buffalo Trace Announces 21st Annual Lighting of the Trace - December 4th

In what is an annual tradition, Buffalo Trace will be kicking off the holiday season with their 21st annual Lighting of the Trace taking place on December 4th at their distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.

The annual event is family friendly and includes refreshments, carols, Christmas stories read
by Santa’s elves, and of course a visit from Santa. The event kicks off at 5:30pm with a special candlelight tour of the Distillery featuring carolers along the tour route. Note, candlelight tours are offered on a first come, first serve basis and the capacity is limited.

From there, at 6:30pm, Frankfort City Commissioner Eric Whisman will press the “magic
button” that will light up more than 145,000 lights across the Distillery. Additionally, the gift shop will stay open until 8pm. Also at 8pm,  the Distillery’s drive-through light display will open for motorists ending at 9:30 p.m.

If you can't make it on the 4th, Santa will be making additional appearances on December 12, 13 and 14 from 6-8 p.m. and December 15 from 3-5 p.m.

The grounds will be lit for nightly for motorists to drive through from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 6 through Jan. 1.
