Ohio Division of Liquor Control Announces O.F.C. (1993 Vintage)/Double Eagle Very Rare Bottle Lottery Winners

The Ohio Division of Liquor Control has announced the eight individual and eight wholesale winners of the O.F.C. 22 and Double Eagle Very Rare bottle lottery.

For this auction, there were 8,206 individual entries and 87 wholesale... this put the final odds at:

Individual: 1 in 1026
Wholesale: 1 in 9.2

For comparison... you have a 1 in 1000 chance of dying while motorcycle racing and you have a 1 in 10 chance of getting the flu this year...

The eight individual winners are:

Jon C. 437899
Chuck G. 334581
Mark G. 263628
Arthur H. 250999
Jamie K. 436460
Brad M. 296595
Trent M. 463347
Robert S. 279603

And the eight wholesale winners are:

101 Bottles of Beer on the Wall 445398
FOP 127 365507
Lovell's Tavern 498205
O'Donnell’s Pub 298124
Short North Pint House 399716
Wing’s Restaurant 400409
Winks Bar & Grille 356008
Venice Cafe 432177

Our Take

We're on record stating that this was a lottery we would avoid at all cost due to the cost of the bottles and all the other bourbon you could buy with that money. Having said that, if we had a wholesale operation, we would have definitely entered and had some fun with the promotions.

If you see any of the spirits for sale, drop a note in the comments.
