Woodford Introduces 2019 Kentucky Derby Bottle

In news near and dear to this site, Woodford Reserve has introduced their commemorative bottle for the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby.

This is the 20th anniversary of the Derby Bottle. This year's bottle art is based off an oil painting by Kentucky artist Keith Anderson.

"The art follows the thoroughbreds around the track, highlighting their power, grace, and elegance."

Woodford is a presenting sponsor of the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby. In preparation for the event, they have set up some Derby Party Cocktails to enjoy while celebrating. These include the Old Forester Mint Julep (Old Forester is owned by Woodford parent Brown-Forman), Woodford Reserve Spire, and Woodford Reserve Horse's Neck.

For the bottle itself, Woodford has partnered with ReserveBar for online sales starting at $54 + shipping (No shipping to those in Ohio). The 2018 bottle was available in Ohio at a retail price of $39.99 + tax. There is no word on when the 2019 bottle this will be available in Ohio or at what price. However, we will be buying one at the first chance we get.
