Basil Hayden's Announces New Limited Release 10-Year-Old Bourbon

Basil Hayden's Bourbon is currently our highest rated bourbon that we've reviewed so you can imagine our excitement hearing they are releasing a limited edition 10-year bourbon just in time for the holiday season.

According to the press release, the new 10 year bourbon: 

"Features the brand's trademark high-rye bourbon recipe, aged longer in American Oak barrels to offer an additional layer of complexity to an already distinctive whiskey. The extra aging delivers heightened oak aromas along with hints of char and vanilla"

The specifications are:

Proof: 80
Color: Golden Amber
Aroma: Big oak, hints or char, vanilla and rye
Taste: Oak balanced by caramel sweetness and rye spice
Finish: Lightly smoky with a subtle hint of char

Basil Hayden's 10 Year is available nationwide in limited release at a suggested retail price of $59.99 for a 750ml bottle. No word on if this will be available in Ohio, but we have our fingers crossed! If you come across a bottle in the wild, drop us a note.
