2019 State of Ohio Van Winkle and Buffalo Trace Bottle Lotteries Announced

Like last year, the The Ohio Division of Liquor Control (OHLQ) has announced the Pappy Van Winkle and Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bottle lottery. This is an opportunity to enter a lottery to win the opportunity to purchase a hard to find bottle of select Buffalo Trace products at retail prices. The 2019 edition begins at 12:01 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2 and runs through 11:59 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

There are technically two lotteries... one for the 2019 Van Winkle releases and one for the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bottles. Participants will be able to enter both lotteries with one submission and have a chance to win a product from both collections. Entrants must be an Ohio resident 21 years or older and the following is required:

  • Last Name
  • Street Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address

  • Consumers will also be asked to choose an OHLQ location to purchase their product, should they be chosen as a winner.
Winners will be notified in January and will have the opportunity to purchase one bottle. Bottles must be purchased by 1/19/2020 or risk forfeiting the ability to purchase. The link to enter is:
