Heaven Hill Announces New Master Distiller - Conor O’Driscoll

Heaven Hill Distillery has announced that Conor O’Driscoll will join Heaven Hill as their fifth Master Distiller in their celebrated 84-year history.

A native of Dublin, Ireland, O'Driscoll came to the U.S. after completing his degree in Chemical Engineering at University College Dublin. He began his career at Pfizer and Aker Kvaerner, before moving to the Brown-Forman Distillery in Shively where he served as Operations Manager. After five years, he took a position to oversee operations at the Woodford Reserve Distillery where he added warehousing and processing responsibilities. In 2017, he moved to Angel’s Envy in Louisville to lead their distillery operations.

In a statement, O'Driscoll says:
“I’m very proud to be a part of Heaven Hill’s storied whiskey legacy,” said O’Driscoll. “The trust of the Shapira family is humbling. And I am excited and honored to carry on the traditions of the Master Distillers that helped establish Heaven Hill’s place in the industry. I am especially honored to carry on the legacy of Parker Beam, whose expectations for quality and consistency live on today.”
As Master Distiller, Conor will oversee the following brands: Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, Larceny, Pikesville, Maryland, Rittenhouse Square, Pennsylvania, and the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. O’Driscoll will immediately begin leading the distilling and warehousing teams at the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville.

There is no word if he is a member of the O'Driscoll's from Red Dead Redemption 2, but we at ColumbusBourbon wish him the best and we look forward to the future from Heaven Hill.
